What do you get when you mix tas

Judy Walker - 1st Place Women's What do you get when you mix tasty waves, a loaded Centurion, and a stoke for the upcoming season that is unmatched?

On April 29th, the second installment of the AWA’s wakesurf contest went down in grand fashion.  Calling out talent from neighboring states such as California and Nevada, the field of talent grew much larger than anticipated.  So large and diverse, a new division was born to house the slayshers not quite ready to throw the shov's and varials..   Handing us this epic event were none other than AZ staples Reef, Desert Surf Co, Century Marine, and Liquid Force.  Where else can you surf in the balmy Spring sun, hang out with the raddest group of riders this side of anywhere, and walk with swag from the best companies around?

Jaime Lovett - 1st Place AdvancedWinners of the divisions padded their bags with new Roxy luggage, Liquid Tunes MP3 players, H2O Audio Ipod cases, surf boards, and a hall pass to Boardstock, the highest level of wakesurf contests.

Making your season one to look forward to, the AWA is tossing out events to keep you on your toes.  Not only wake riding events, but bringing wakesurfing, learn to ride days, and demo days to the masses of AZ on a mission to provide a season of wake love.

Tighten your boots, grab your sandals, and sell your house for gas money, cause we’re coming in hot!

Congratulations to our winners!

 Rider’s Series Stop 3

Century Marine and Hyperlite are teaming up to bring riders the third stop in the Arizona Wakeboard Association's Rider's Series.  Don't let the rising temperatures keep you away from a hot competition.  After all, the AWA and Two Cow Cove provide the coolest way to beat the desert heat.  Remember that registration is available online at www.theawa.com until the Thursday before the contest.

 Brostock @ Lake Powell:

Liquid Force is putting on a Houseboat Festival/Party with the folks at Lake Powell this summer.  They will be having their 2007 product line catalog shoot from June 3rd until the 9th, and then will be sticking around for the weekend of the 10th and 11th.  This is when the real fun will happen!  They are going to try and re-create a “Boardstock-like" event in the middle of Lake Powell.  What better place to have a LF event?  The crew from Alliance will be there for the weekend to film an episode of PULL.  The idea is fairly simple…Get as many houseboats on the water as possible and have a couple of fun days of riding and partying!  They plan on taking over an entire cove at Powell.  They will have the entire LF team with them and will be hanging out with anyone that shows up.  There will be once a day demos by the LF team in the middle of all of the houseboats, but for the most part it will be just a free-for-all, weekend of fun.  Go to www.lakepowell.com and mention the Liquid Force Brostock to reserve your houseboat and you'll get a 54' houseboat (sleeps 12) and a PWC for $3800!  This is approximately $1000 less than the normal price.
