Mastercraft Boats of Arizona and Hyperlite
are teaming up to bring AWA riders the 5th event of the 2007 Rider's Series
on July 21st. This dynamic duo will give every AWA rider the
opportunity to be treated like a Pro! Mastercraft Boats of Arizona is
giving AWA riders the opportunity to ride like a Pro behind the same boats
used to pull the Pro Wakeboard Tour. Hyperlite is ensuring that AWA
riders are treated like a Pro with their industry first Podium Payback
Program.
"Ten year's after the X-Star's birth, the
X-Star is still doing the impossible - pushing the best in the world to
their limits and beyond. Rusty Malinoski should know, seeing that his
X-Star has had three 1080's landed behind it, one by Danny Harf and the
other two by the man himself. It has won the Rider's Choose
Award for the 4th straight year. The X-Star's 22'3" length and 100"
beam provides seating for you and 11 of your friends.

Since every rider will have the opportunity
to ride behind the boat the pulls the pros, it is only fitting that every
rider will have the opportunity to win prizes like the pro's.
Hyperlite's Podium Payback program gives even more prizes to the top three
finishers provided they are riding a 2006 or 2007 Hyperlite wakeboard. The
rules are simple: ride a '06 or '07 Hyperlite wakeboard, Podium, take a
picture of you and your board with the other two winners, turn in
this form within 30 days.
Because of the searing Arizona heat and the
monsoons kicking up, we have changed the event start time. Registration begins at
7:00 AM and end at 8:00 AM. Late
registration will not be permitted for any divisions. Since
pre-registration is available online at
http://www.theawa.com/registration.php, onsite registration will not be
permitted after 8:00 AM. Pre-register online ends 24 hours before the
start of the event, so do it now so you don't forget! The competitive action will start no later than
8:30
AM. Don’t forget the sunscreen and the cooler with food and lots

Banquet
The banquet date and location have been
finalized. Mark your calendars for September 22nd 6 PM to 10
PM. Since we had so much positive feedback from last year’s banquet we will
once again be holding it at
Jillian’s at Desert Ridge. Cost will be $30 for adults, $15 for
children 12 and under, and $5 for those who wish to be there but not eat (to
cover non-alcoholic beverage service). We will be giving everybody a raffle
ticket. People who have attended past banquets know that you are sure to
walk away with at least one door prize and you will have the opportunity to
purchase additional raffle tickets for the big money items. We will start
collecting money for the banquet immediately, so reserve your spot by
turning in
this form at the next event or mail it to the address listed.
