Attention All WAKESURFERS

It was 112 degrees Fahrenheit in Phoenix, hot even by Arizona standards, on Saturday June 3rd.  That didn’t keep 54 faithful Arizona Wakeboard Association riders from heading to the oasis in the desert.  Two Cow Cove was, once again, the coolest place to be and to see the hottest wakeboarding action in the state.    Now that Mother Nature has opened the proverbial oven door, the competition on the water is heating up too.   With three events down and three events to go, the battle for the State Title is starting to get good.  Less than 20 points separate the first and second place riders in the standings for the intermediate, outlaw, wakeskate and women’s divisions.  With the State Titles up for grabs, the last three events are sure to be incredible.  Congratulations to the top three finishers

Greg Dick's Sweet RideCentury Marine and Hyperlite teamed up to provide AWA rippers with another great event.  Century Marine provided a sacked out Air Nautique 210 to launch riders as well as $80 gift certificates to 1st place finishers.  Greg Dick, newly appointed VP of Marketing for Hyperlite, made the journey with his custom painted Nautique to AZ to help out at this spectacular event.  Not only did Greg provide Hyperlite boardbags, backpacks, towels, or CD holders to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers, but he also supplemented the Outlaw division prize money.  What more could you ask for in a sponsorship team?
