We had so much fun in May with the guys from Paradise Watersports of AZ, we asked them to do it again in June.   The 3rd event of the Arizona Wakeboard Association's Rider Series will be held on June 7th at Lake Pleasants Two Cow Cove. 

Paradise Watersports of Arizona, the AWA's longest continual sponsor, will be towing this event with a Wakesetter VLX and a Wakesetter 23 LSV.  Malibu has won it's 7th straight Boat of the Year Award from PowerBoat Magazine.  This year it was the 23' LSV that was granted the honors.  This boat had its debute at the Freeze Your Fanny Off event, and had an encore performance at Malibu Mayhem.  June 7th will be the last time this year for you to have a chance to ride behind this award winning boat.

The Wakesetter 23 LSV is the big brother to the VLX.  "Malibu engineers have found that perfect place among ride, handling and wakeboard performance with its advanced hull design. The Wakesetter VLX is the official towboat of the most prestigious professional tournaments in the world, including the Wakeboard World Championships, Wakestock of Canada, Wakeboard Collegiate Nationals and the Malibu Wakeboard Championships. While each of the Wakesetters has a unique layout and size, their similarity lies in the fact they make no compromises in quality, performance and value. DATE CHANGE/PRO TOUR STOP: The Pro Wakeboard Tour will be in Phoenix June 28th & 29th at Firebird International Raceway.  Since this stop is huge for the wakeboarding scene in Phoenix, we decided to move our event to June 21st.  This will allow riders, staff, volunteers and sponsors to focus their energy on making sure that not only is our event the best possible but that we are all able to support the Pro Tour.  More info will be made available as the date approaches so check back often.
